This is one of those days we quietly look forward to every single year.
Hag Al Laila always brings a special kind of energy with it, and this year was no different. Our children stepped out to the front of the nursery with their little bags in hand, eyes wide and full of anticipation, ready to choose their own local treats. There is something so lovely about watching them make their own choices, carefully selecting what they want, and then proudly carrying their bags once they are full. The smiles said it all. Big, genuine, ear-to-ear smiles.
What we love most about Hag Al Laila is how simple and joyful it is. There is no pressure, no expectation, just a moment to give back to the children in a way that feels meaningful to them. The excitement of choosing, the shared laughter, the buzz of being part of something familiar and special, and that unmistakable feeling that something nice is happening around you. These are the moments children remember.
It is also a celebration that brings people together. There is a real sense of warmth in the air, of community and kindness, and of doing something thoughtful for one another. The children felt it, the team felt it, and it is always a reminder of how powerful these shared traditions can be.
And yes, we will admit it. The team may or may not have enjoyed a few treats along the way too. It would have been rude not to.
As we move closer to the holy month, Hag Al Laila gives us a gentle pause to reflect on togetherness, generosity, and the small moments that create lasting memories. We hope your day was filled with happy moments, full bags of goodies, and that comforting sense of unity that makes this time of year feel so special.
These are the days that stay with us.
